Fey Publishing Company Receives "Best of Category" Award in Statewide Graphics Excellence Awards
Fey Publishing Company of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin is pleased to announce that it has received a Best of Category award in the 9th Annual Graphics Excellence Awards, a statewide printing competition hosted by the Printing Industries of Wisconsin, the state's trade association for printing and the graphic arts. Fey Publishing submitted 5 entries and received an award for each submission. This marks the third consecutive year that they have received the Best of Category award.
Competing against nearly 900 entries from printing and graphic arts firms across the state, just 75 of the submissions received a Best of Category award, also known as the "Badger Award". Fey Publishing's "Badger Award" came as a result of a stationery set produced for a graphic design firm in Philadelphia, PA, ultimately for use by a photography studio in Brooklyn, NY.
"At a time when advertising budgets are slashed and competition is higher than ever, Fey Publishing excels in all aspects of printing." said Scott Gasch, President of Fey Publishing. The job came in, was completed on time and with a level of quality unsurpassed by any other entry from across the state. This award recognizes not only great design, but also the Fey Publishing employees that create such a meticulous finished product. We are incredibly proud of our employees and the high level of quality we can achieve as a team." he said.
Niall Power, PIW's President and CEO, agrees. "This year marks the 9th anniversary of the competition, and each year the standard of excellence continues to rise. Fey Publishing should be very proud of their company's achievement and the excellent work done by their employees."
PIW is the state's graphic arts trade association, representing an industry with more than 45,000 employees and $7.9 billion in annual sales (2008 Print Market Atlas).
